Food Services at Ferncliff Conference Center
Ferncliff consistently receives high marks for our food service. We pride ourselves in providing good quality buffet style meals with a variety of entrees, vegetables, desserts and beverages. We serve Fair Trade coffee and teas. Our Food Service Director, Linda Brockinton has been a National Dulcimer Champion and has been known to play for groups occasionally!
Recently remodeled and expanded, our Dining Hall can accommodate up to 150 quests very comfortably. We have a spacious serving area and a drink-and-dessert counter for quick and easy access. Buffet-style meals include our home-made entrees and desserts. Dining times are 8:00 AM for breakfast, 12:00 Noon for lunch, and 6:00 PM for dinner. Menus and time changes can be arranged with prior approval from the Food Service Director.
A cozy, old-fashioned porch with old-timey rockers and benches provides a nice view of the lake and the nearby picnic area, which offers outdoor dining space for up to 200 guests. There is also a large, stone, charcoal grill available to the group that prefers to grill out and enjoy the scenery. Also in the picnic area is a lakeside fire pit, a perfect place to start an evening campfire, tell stories, and roast marshmallows for s’mores.
