Americorps - Getting Things Done at Ferncliff
Ferncliff has had a great relationship with Americorps NCCC since 1999. We have been a project sponsor where teams of 10-12 have come for 4-8 weeks of public service. Currently we have a team named Water 1 out of the Colorado office. They are doing a number of projects including expanding the garden, relocating the archery field, creating a mountain top campfire area, and converting a camp truck to run on used cooking oil. During their time at Ferncliff corps members gain valuable skills and experience thanks largely to Steve Wilson, who supervises the teams.
