Solar School #5 Completed and Making a Difference in Haiti
One of the best things going at Ferncliff is the Solar Schools we host in close partnership with Solar Under the Sun. This amazing group of dedicated volunteers has in two short years graduated about 120 people from the Solar 1 or Solar 2 courses and those grads have gone on to organize teams that have now completed 15 solar mission installations in Haiti. Most all these initial projects power water purification systems but the sky is the limit when it comes to the need for clean, green solutions to the needs identified by our brothers and sisters in low-income communities around the globe.
