Green Camps To Gather for Sustainable Pathways Conference
Ferncliff has pulled together the first conference for camp/retreat centers from various denominations who are interested in "going green." (Click under Upcoming Events to get the brochure.) It is the first time the camp/retreat center networks of the Presbyterian, United Methodist and Lutheran churches have endorsed an event together. Training will be conducted by HospitalityGreen, an organization that has trained scores of companies and non-profits in how to be more sustainable. While the target is camp/retreat centers, anyone in the faith-based comunity interested in green initiatives is welcome and would find it a meaningful event.
