Buckets to Tuscaloosa!
Church World Service emailed on Monday and asked how quickly we could get all our disaster clean up buckets to Tuscaloosa. That would be 792 buckets packed onto 22 pallets with the help of friends from Trinity Presbyterian Church in Flower Mound, TX. We had them loaded on a truck on Tuesday and they will arrive in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday. Woo hoo! The attached picture is of a van from Kansas that was totally packed with buckets and kits. I don't believe they could have gotten in one more bucket. They fell out of every door. That van will smell like soap for a long time! It's nice to know that so many Presbyterians care and want to help neighbors.
