The Garden Goes In!

Thanks to the help of our Americorps volunteers, our camp garden is up and growing. Twelve double dug raised beds are prepared and several are planted with cool weather vegetables. Creative trellises have been made out of bamboo and salvaged materials. A rarely used gazebo was moved in and it will not only be shade but also will catch rainwater. Campers will get hands on experience with raising vegetables and eating from the garden!
