Ferncliff Hosts First Synod Meeting
Ferncliff was pleased to host the fall meeting of the Synod of the Sun. About 70 commissioners and staffcame from 11 Presbyteries spread over 4 states. For many it was their first visit and they took time around the edges of their meetings to get a tour on the 14-passenger Solar Shuttle -- a vehicle Synod had helped to finance with a $5,000 grant. Ferncliff provided shuttle service and showed how it can be a great location for regional meetings. David Gill preached the evening worship service at the Mosley Tabernacle and the Solar Trailer was on display for the participants.
