February Disaster Work Breaks Record

During the month of February, Ferncliff received 49,338 pounds of boxes of disaster kits for Haiti sent from churches around the country.  To put that number in perspective, in all of 2009, Ferncliff received 37,000 pounds of incoming kits!  The kits are continuing to roll in and groups of volunteers are coming most everyday to help.  We have sent out four truckloads -- about 40,000 kits -- to the CWS national warehouse in New Windsor, MD to be put in shipping containers for delivery to Haiti.
