Sweeter Dreams Coming To Ferncliff!
You may not have thought about it, but people spend a lot of their time at Ferncliff sleeping! Really. Come for weekend retreat and you'll likely spend 1/3 or more of your hours in bed! Reflecting on that fact, Ferncliff decided that one of the best avenues to show hospitality to guests would be to give them a great night's sleep and replace the beds that have served the conference center well since it opened in 1992. The camp is working hard to raise $27,000 to replace every adult bed on the site and do so with a very high quality bed.Ferncliff did some research and decided to go with Jamison Bedding -- Marriott's supplier. It will take $27,000 to replace every bed, but the effort got off to a good start with a $5,000 gift from the Walton Family Foundation and another $600 from Ferncliff staff members! One of Ferncliff's housekeeping staff is so committed to this project that she is having $10 held out of each paycheck!
