Tears of Joy for Choir Coming to Camp!
"Oh my gosh, you are making me cry!" That's what Karen Hayes, wife of pastor Cedric Hayes said when she heard that there were ample funds for her Gloryland Pastor's Choir children to come to Ferncliff. David Gill and Pastor Hayes hatched the idea for the award winning choir to come to camp after they had collaborated on a previous project. The choir has children from age 4 - 19 from North Little Rock, Eudora and Wynne. The choir has brought hope, discipline and faith development to a group of children who really needed a bright spot in their lives. The choir has been winning all kinds of awards for their music and ministry.
Thanks to donations from Trinity Presbyterian Church, the Presbytery of Arkansas, Ferncliff, individual donors, Bentonville Presbyterian Church, the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame and others, 50 children will come for a special week of camp July 5-10. Thanks to all who help make this happen!
