Volunteers Gone Wild at Camp
Volunteer Hours Already Match All of Last Year
In the past weeks, volunteers have been involved in
- Williams Lodge (new kitchen, roof, a/c units, sewer, landscaping and paint)
- Laying donated sod around Mosley Tabernacle (Americorps Sun 4 team)
- Building a beautiful new stone cookout grill and smoker
- Making and inspecting hundreds of disaster kits (Bella Vista volunteers!)
- Sawing hardwood logs for future construction projects
- Hauling away brush, extending a sidewalk, and many other projects (Americorps)
- Cleaning all around Ferncliff lake (Presbyterian Youth Groups!)
- Painting the interior of Red Bud Cottage
One of the best indicators of a healthy and growing camp is the strength of its volunteer program. Already in 2009, Ferncliff has eclipsed the number of hours donated by volunteers all of last year. Ferncliff is very fortunate to have such great volunteers!
